So we went looking for the best overall most affordable Bluetooth earpiece to talk on and listening to some tunes on.

JABRA Wave:  $60 – $99

The Jabra WAVE is slim and exceptionally comfortable. A new more advanced version of the classic behind-the-ear style that prevents wind and back ground noise from interfering with your conversation especially if the foam sock is used on the boom microphone. If at any point the connection with your mobile is interrupted, or the battery is low, the headset will simply tell you so via Voice Guidance. It will also inform you if it is time to recharge. Ability to connect to 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

HD Voice for better sound quality experience

Stream Multimedia – GPS, music and podcasts with A2DP technology

Operating Range: 33ft (10 meters)

Talk Time: Up to 6 hours

Standby Time: Up to 8 days

Charging Time: 3 hours

Size/Weight: w: 0.5in x H: 1.8in x L: 3.9In Weight .47 ounces

On top of the Jabra WAVE we find a dedicated on/off switch, which is something that we do not get to see quite often on Bluetooth headsets. Right underneath it is a microUSB port that is used for charging the internal battery, but its cover is so flimsy that it falls off by itself most of the time. We are also treated to a well exposed 2-button volume rocker and a couple of LED lights that indicate the device’s battery level and status. So how do you answer calls you might ask. Well, something that we were quite happy to find is that the boom microphone also has a button on its tip – pressing it picks up and hangs up calls. We found pressing the button with your finger could not be any easier.
